Wisconsin farmer named National Conservation Legacy Award winner

Andy Bensend tells Brownfield his involvement in conservation started with his grandfather. For his farm that means reducing tillage, using cover crops and promoting conservation practices in the community.  Bensend was also instrumental in creating the Farmers of Barron County Watersheds program which supports conservation efforts to improve water quality.
