Calcium deficeincy in fresh cows
Research at a number of universities including Wisconsin and Iowa State has found more than 50 percent of dairy cows are suffering from sub-clinical milk fever right after freshening. Ron Martin with Bio Vet says they have a set of boluses with calcium from four different sources which, when given immediately after calving can make a big difference in that cow’s health and milk production.
