A long-standing relationship

FlynnFor years in towns across the Midwest one of the “fixtures” has been the American Family Insurance agency. The company started in 1927 mainly to insure autos primarily for farmers. Today, farms are still a big part of the company’s business. Patty Flynn is the American Family agent in Rice Lake, Wisconsin; she says “Farms are really important to us; we insure over 22 million acres of farmland and ranchland in 19 states.” Those local agents in all those small towns are still a vital part of American Family Insurance.
