Indiana FFA Foundation recipient of Lilly Endowment

The Lilly Endowment has awarded nearly 400-thousand-dollars to the Indiana FFA Foundation to launch its Learn-Lead-Succeed project.  Through the grant, the Indiana FFA Leadership Center will work with students from underserved communities to develop leadership and employable skills.

The project will utilize a three-year plan to provide hands-on education and environmental education to middle and high school students from underserved communities.  The Foundation estimates it will serve 4,000 youth from Johnson, Marion, and surrounding counties who are less exposed to natural environments.

Lisa Chaudion, executive director for the Indiana FFA Foundation says the Learn-Lead-Succeed project will help Indiana youth develop the skills needed to continue their education and seek meaningful careers.
