DuPont making more cuts ahead of merger

DuPont this week said it is cutting more costs ahead of its merger with Dow Chemical Company. The latest announcement said DuPont would reduce costs by $730 Million from 2015 levels. Its cost cutting plan includes a 10 percent reduction in its work force of 63-thousand people. Both companies say they are streamlining operations before they merge.
