Doud nominated as Chief Ag Negotiator

President Trump has nominated Greg Doud to be the next Chief Ag Negotiator for the US Trade Representative.  Doud, a farm policy veteran, is currently the president of the Commodity Markets Council.  He has also served as a senior staff member of the Senate Ag Committee for Senator Pat Roberts and Senator Thad Cochran and spent eight years as the chief economist for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.

Doud will succeed Darci Vetter, who held the USTR post under the Obama administration.
