Donnelly says labeling bill is a bipartisan solution

Indiana Senator and Senate Agriculture Committee member Joe Donnelly is urging the Senate to swiftly pass today’s Bipartisan Biotechnology Labeling deal.

The Senator says the proposed legislation is a compromise that will provide consumers access to the information about the food they eat, but also provides certainty to Hoosier farmers and food manufacturers so they can continue to provide a safe and reliable food supply for the world.

Donnelly says the agreement will bring the right information to grocery stores and homes in a responsible way.
