Arkansas dicamba ban begins July 11th

The Arkansas Department of Agriculture confirms a 120-day ban on the sale and use of dicamba will go into effect Tuesday, July 11th.  The Arkansas State Plant Board filed the emergency rule with the Arkansas Secretary of State’s office following reports of dicamba injury to soybeans and other crops this growing season.  Arkansas will increase the civil penalty for the misuse of dicamba application up to $25,000 starting August 1st.  There are more than 540 dicamba complaints filed in Arkansas.
