Answer to GMO cancer question still “no”

The cancer question keeps coming up about GMO foods and the science-based answer to that question remains the same – GMOs do not cause cancer.

Connie Diekman is a registered dietitian who is also an expert with GMO Answers. She is not surprised that the cancer question keeps coming up because of the emotional and physical devastation of that disease, “But, you know, the good news that when we look at the use of GM seeds in developing our agriculture, studies both in animals and in humans cannot document any harm in that 20 year period of time.”

GMO Answers is an online forum for getting questions about genetically modified foods answered by experts. Since it began three years ago, “Do GMOs cause cancer?” is the number-one question.
