NAFTA helps support U.S. pork industry
The CEO of the National Pork Producers Council welcomes modernization of NAFTA, but says don’t break what doesn’t need fixing.
Neil Dierks tells Brownfield the North American Free Trade Agreement has been very good to the U.S. pork industry.
NPPC was also supportive of the Trans Pacific Partnership, which President Trump withdrew the U.S. from earlier this year.
Dierks says the administration must find other ways to gain access to foreign markets.
