Cattle disease anaplasmosis continues to spread
The blood disease of cattle, anaplasmosis, continues to spread from southeastern and western areas of the U.S. to the Midwest. The disease causes severe and potentially fatal anemia in cattle. On today’s program, Dr. Gregg Hanzlicek, director of production animal field investigations for the Veterinary Diagnostic Lab at Kansas State University, talks about how anaplasmosis spreads and steps producers should take to prevent the spread of the disease.
