Yet another pattern shift ahead for the Heartland; milder, warmer, wetter days

Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for above-normal temperatures and precipitation nearly nationwide.  Areas from the southeastern Plains into the Great Lakes region will have the greatest likelihood of experiencing warm weather.

Meanwhile, near-normal precipitation should be limited to the Northeast and the lower Rio Grande Valley.
