Wide-ranging temps to fuel a more showery pattern across the Heartland next week.

Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of above-normal temperatures from the Southwest to the middle and southern Atlantic Coast, while cooler-than-normal conditions will stretch from the Pacific Coast to the northern Plains.

Meanwhile, near- or above-normal precipitation across most of the country should contrast with drier-than-normal weather in several areas, including the Four Corners region and much of the eastern U.S.
