Brownfield Ag Weather Today

A low-pressure system currently centered over the lower Missouri Valley will continue to drift eastward and slowly weaken.  However, generally minor storm-related impacts—such as rain and snow showers, as well as gusty winds—will linger for the remainder of the week from the mid-South and Midwest into the East.  Outside that storm’s large sphere of influence, mild, dry weather should prevail.  Farther west, however, Pacific storminess will graze the West Coast States, with precipitation shifting southward into California late in the week.  Elsewhere in the western U.S., dry weather should prevail during the next 5 days.  Mostly dry weather will also cover much of the South, including the southern Plains and the lower Mississippi Valley.
