Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Sponsored by: The American Soybean Association and United Soybean Board

A storm system currently crossing the Ohio Valley will reach the Northeast on Saturday.  For the remainder of Friday, showers and thunderstorms associated with that storm could result in high winds and flash flooding in parts of the eastern U.S.  Meanwhile, a series of disturbances will traverse areas from the Pacific Northwest into the upper Midwest, resulting in 5-day precipitation totals that will generally range from 1 to 2 inches, but could reach 4 inches or more in southern Montana.  During the Memorial Day weekend, high-elevation snow will occur in parts of the Cascades and northern Rockies.  In the Red River Valley and neighboring areas, upcoming precipitation could result in a new round of fieldwork delays.  In contrast, mostly dry weather will prevail during the next 5 days from California to the lower Mississippi Valley.
