Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Sponsored by Pivot Bio PROVEN

During the weekend, cool air will become more deeply entrenched across the Midwest and East, with freezes expected late in the weekend and early next week as far south as the Tennessee Valley and the southern Appalachians. Hard freezes (temperatures of 28°F or lower) will occur throughout the Midwest and Northeast. Meanwhile, much of the remainder of the country will experience several days of warm, dry weather. Early next week, however, rain and snow showers will begin to overspread the West, reaching the Plains by Tuesday. A new severe-weather outbreak may develop across the southern Plains, starting late Tuesday. The Western precipitation, while expected to be beneficial, should be mostly light and is unlikely to significantly alter the water-supply situation, which has turned increasingly bleak since a drier-than-normal regime developed in January 2022.
