Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Significant precipitation will remain scarce for the remainder of the week. In fact, completely dry weather should prevail during the next 5 days in the southern Atlantic States and from California to the central and southern High Plains. Spotty showers may develop late in the week from the western Gulf Coast region to the Mississippi Delta. Farther north, occasional rain and snow showers will affect the Midwest and Northeast, with the heaviest precipitation (locally one-half inch or more) falling downwind of the Great Lakes. Meanwhile, heavy precipitation will graze the Pacific Northwest, mainly affecting western Washington, during the first half of the week. Elsewhere, much of the country will experience above-normal temperatures during the next few days, with a warming trend soon commencing east of the Mississippi River. By week’s end, however, cool conditions will return across the Northeast.
