Brownfield Ag Weather Today

A storm system crossing south-central Canada will continue to generate high winds, along with scattered rain and snow showers. During the second half of the week, the system will lift northeastward and begin to weaken, although a trailing cold front will generate scattered to widespread showers along and east of a line from Deep South Texas to Michigan. Some of the heaviest rain, locally 1 to 3 inches or more, should fall on Thursday in southern Florida. By week’s end, dry weather will return or continue across much of the country. In fact, little or no precipitation will fall during the next 5 days from central and southern California to the Plains and upper Midwest. Parts of the Southeast will also remain mostly dry.
