Brownfield Ag Weather Today

Sponsored by Pivot Bio PROVEN

Tropical moisture (from the eastern Pacific) being entrained by a cold front currently crossing the Plains and Midwest will lead to the development and persistence of heavy rain from north-central Texas into the lower Ohio Valley. Five-day rainfall totals could reach 5 inches or more from the Red River Valley (Texas-Oklahoma border) to the Ozark Plateau. Meanwhile, cooler, drier air will gradually overspread the Midwest, while hot, humid conditions will persist across the South. Most areas from the Pacific Coast to the northern Plains will remain dry through week’s end. Elsewhere, heat will return across much of the West during the mid- to late-week period, while cooler-than-normal weather will gradually engulf most areas between the Rockies and Appalachians.
