The takeaway in a year like 2011

For Brent Johnson, regional manager for Wyffels Hybrids, crop stress during the 2011 growing season is an understatement, but he tells Brownfield’s Dave Russell that we can learn some things from a year like this, beginning with nitrogen management. Johnson also suggests growers plan ahead and get seed ordered early because the seed corn crop has been hurt as much as the commercial crop.
