FFA offers career development

A week of leadership training, networking, and career development is waiting for the more than 60,000 FFA members that will attend this week’s National FFA Convention.

Josh Bledsoe, COO of the National FFA Organization says he’s excited for the opportunities awaiting members.  “For our students to experience so many great things that will grow them into the great leaders that we know FFA does,” he says.

He tells Brownfield career exploration and development play a huge role in a FFA members’ experience – and this year the organization is celebrating a milestone.  “This is our 50th anniversary of the expo,” he says.  “Where students can see all the different careers in agriculture.  A lot of our partners, our universities, and even our state associations come out.  We’re looking forward to a great week – and close to record attendance.”

The 89th National FFA Convention kicks off tomorrow.
