Farm Progress Show important for exhibitor

Stewart Peterson’s business, Fargo, North Dakota-based North Country Marketing, has 400 dealers in 14 states, so it’s no surprise to find him in Decatur, Illinois. “The Farm Progress Show is a big show for us, because it brings in people from all over the United States and Canada, and we have a lot of export possibilities as well overseas,” Peterson told Brownfield Ag News from under the shade of his straw hat. Among specialty equipment in his display, it’s evident the centerpiece is the Mandako Twister vertical tillage machine. “What we’re doing with vertical tillage is we’re sizing up your residue with the coulters and we’re lifting the residue and soil up vertically and then we’re putting it back down.”
