Call before you dig

Roger Watwood, Southern Illinois Damage Prevention Manager JULIE, Inc. tells Brownfield it is important to dial those three digits a couple of days before you disturb the surface of the earth.  This allows utility companies to come to your farm and mark the location of underground lines. This action can not only prevent damage to those utility lines, but protect you and others nearby from harm.

Illinois, Iowa and surrounding states will be represented at the Damage Prevention Association exhibit, booth 555 in the southwest quadrant of the exhibit field at the 2016 Farm Progress Show.
