Andrew Streff – Grain Production
Streff persuaded his parents to rent him land to undertake his own agricultural endeavor. He started with ten acres in 2013 and worked his way to 60 acres last year to grow corn. In addition to purchasing his own seed, fertilizer, herbicides, insurance, fuel and other supplies, he follows grain marketing trends to ensure he receives the best price for his corn.
His parents are Julie and Eugene, and his FFA advisors are Terry Rieckman and Tracy Chase.
