The Iowa Soybean Association (ISA) is conducting a trade mission to China this week. In a Wednesday morning conference call with reporters, participants discussed the purpose of their mission and what they’re hearing from U.S. officials and Chinese soybean buyers regarding trade tensions between the U.S and China.

Participating in the call from Wuhan, China were Bill Shipley, ISA president and farmer (Nodaway); Lindsay Greiner, ISA president-elect and farmer (Keota); Kirk Leeds, ISA CEO; and Grant Kimberley, ISA director of market development. The call was hosted by ISA communications director Aaron Putze.
