Brownfield’s partnership with WAMW Classic Hits 107.9 FM, Washington, Indiana, goes back many years. This Classic Hits station is a local favorite in the area. WAMW-AM 1580 (with FM translators at 95.9 and 101.3) is also affiliated with Brownfield Ag News.

Tell us about the services your station provides.

We are the local hometown station providing full length newscasts each morning, AG news, police reports, and obits.  We carry our local High School games, and pride ourselves on being the local station that people count on for the news and information and great music. 

Tell us about your community involvement.

Active member of many local clubs and we organize community concerts and events.  We just wrapped up the 4^th of July Celebration at our park, and now look to several other festivals this summer.  We stay involved with as many community events as possible.   

Tell us about any involvement you have, or coverage you provide, to any agriculture related groups.

We will be broadcasting our local 4-H Livestock Auction in its entirety later this month.  We also are the judges for a couple of events at the 4-H Fair including public speaking.
