Wisconsin dairy checkoff board election underway

Wisconsin dairy farmers have until May 25^th to vote for members to the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin board.  Formerly the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin board members will serve three-year terms.  The election is coordinated by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection.

Florence, Forest, Langlade, Marinette, Oconto and Vilas counties

Nominee – Connie Seefeldt, Coleman

District 5

St. Croix, Dunn counties

Nominees – Kay Zwald, Hammond; Rachel Kummer, Mondovi

District 8

Marathon County

Nominee – Steven Sternweis, Marshfield

District 11

Outagamie and Winnebago counties

Nominee – Mike Verhasselt, Kaukauna

District 14

Jackson, LaCrosse and Trempealeau counties
