Weekly ethanol production holds above 1 million barrels

Programs ICON

Ethanol production declined a bit last week.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration says production was down 3,000 barrels a day on the week, but did average 1.014 million barrels, the fourth week in a row over a million. Demand is good and the recent RFS announcement is expected to keep production at these relatively high levels.

Ethanol stocks increased 343,000 barrels to 18.952 million barrels, but that is still near one year lows.
