Programs ICON

Fall harvest activity in Missouri is nearing the end.

The state office of the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service says conditions were considerably warmer and drier than in past years, and the corn harvest is now 95% complete and soybeans are at 86%.

The focus on harvest has winter wheat planting a little slower than normal at 78% with emergence at 54%. 60% of winter wheat is rated good to excellent.
