USTR Tai sworn in
The Biden administration’s choice for U.S. Trade Representative is now on the job.
Vice President Kamala Harris administered the oath of office to Katherine Tai late Thursday after her Senate confirmation.
The USTR office confirms Tai is meeting with staff Friday.
Tai previously served at the USTR office from 2007 until 2014, most recently as the Chief Counsel for China Trade Enforcement.
