USDA announces $36M for water quality, infrastructure projects

The Biden administration is investing $36 million to help fund some water quality and infrastructure projects across the country.

Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack says nearly 100 projects through the USDA’s Legacy Roads and Trails Program will improve water quality, roads, trails, bridges, and habitat on national forests and grasslands.

Vilsack says the funds will come from President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and will be allocated through the agency’s Forest Service.
