U.S. ethanol stocks decline

Good demand pulled U.S. ethanol stocks to a nearly one year low last week.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration says stocks for the week ending October 14th were 19.042 million barrels, down 351,000 on the week, despite a week to week increase in production. That’s the lowest since the week ending November 6th, 2015.

U.S. ethanol production averaged 998,000 barrels per day, up 36,000 on the week and the highest since the week ending September 9th, 2016.
