The benefits of yield estimates

The Pro Farmer Midwest Crop Tour made its way through the Corn Belt last week.  The Western and Eastern legs moved from their starting points through corn and soybean fields on their way to Minnesota.  The yield estimates and observations made throughout the week doesn’t just provide fodder for coffee shops and discussion among agribusinesses.  The tour also gives a hands on account of what is going on in fields across the Corn Belt. 

Central Illinois farmer Byron Jones says that is a huge benefit.
