South Dakota, Ohio students win essay contest

Two students have won top prizes in the National Ag Day Essay Contest. Grace Brose from Box Elder, South Dakota, won the prize for the written essay.

This year’s video essay winner is Jacob Kandell of Mason, Ohio.

The Agriculture Council of America (ACA) says the theme: “Agriculture: Food for Life. How does our nation lead the way?” presented an opportunity for high school students to address how American agriculture feeds the growing population.<br> <br> The contest also named two merit winners: Brody Allen Snook of Marseilles, Illinois and Emily Li of Sugar Land, Texas.
