Siemers-Peterman plans to stay involved in agriculture

Wisconsin’s 70th Alice in Dairyland for 2017-2018, Crystal Siemers-Peterman

Wisconsin’s new Alice in Dairyland, Kaitlyn Riley started her new duties Monday, and her predecessor plans to find a permanent career in agriculture.

Crystal Siemers-Peterman tells Brownfield, “I look forward to working hopefully in the dairy industry either doing something with international or domestic sales.”

Siemers-Peterman says she enjoyed serving as Wisconsin’s 70th Alice and has some advice for Kaitlyn and other future Alices.  “Wear comfortable shoes and also, don’t be afraid to have any type of conversation with people in all walks of life.  That was one of my favorite parts.”

Siemers-Peterman looks back on the past year with an appreciation for all of Wisconsin’s agribusinesses.  “This past year, I have you know experienced vulnerabilities, strengthened the relationships around me, and I’m proud to say that I’ve grown in my faith, too.  So, after traveling all of these thousands of miles, I’m just so grateful to represent Wisconsin farmers, agriculturists, and agribusinesses.”

Alice in Dairyland is a one-year paid promotional position promoting all of Wisconsin agriculture and is managed by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection.
