Planting is near in Indiana

Most growers held off on planting corn because of cool conditions last week. According to the USDA, one percent of the corn crop is planted.

Winter wheat remained stable and seven percent of the crop is jointing.

Farmers also made progress on fieldwork including tillage, fertilizer and herbicide application, tile installation, and more.
