U.S. agricultural businesses will soon be expanding export branches into Cuba after the White House finalized business and travel restrictions. The Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control will now allow agricultural companies and others that represent approved exports to open offices, storage facilities and retail outlets in Cuba. The restrictions also eased regulations on passenger and cargo vessels, and telecommunication and internet services provided to Cubans by U.S. companies.
