Ohio state officer visits Iowa FFA Convention
A state officer from Ohio is observing the Iowa FFA State Leadership Conference in Ames as she prepares for her state convention next month.
Ohio FFA State Reporter Aly Murphy says she’s friends with Iowa’s state officer team.
“And we’re kind of just here to watch convention, see how Iowa does things, and watch our friends the state officers retire this year.”
She tells Brownfield the convention is impressive.
“Iowa has brought the hype, it’s very exciting. I love the pre-session, all the dancing, the light show. The fire is amazing.”
The Ohio FFA Convention is May 4th and 5th and Murphy says the script will be similar to Iowa’s.
“We present all the awards, we speak, and we really just act as kind of like a hype crew for Ohio FFA.”
