The Biden administration has appointed new directors to lead the Farm Service Agency and Rural Development in Michigan.

Mid-Michigan crop farmer Tim Boring has been tapped to lead FSA as the state executive director.  Boring is the founder and president of Michigan Agriculture Advancement and former vice president of the Michigan Agri-Business Association.  He’s also served on the Michigan Commission of Agriculture and Rural Development and worked as the research director of the Michigan Soybean Committee.

Brandon Fewins will serve as the state director of Rural Development.  He has worked as the Northern Michigan Regional Manager for U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow for the past 20 years and has been an advisor to the U.S. Senate Ag Committee.
