Nebraska’s harvest is picking up steam

Harvest activity in Nebraska is starting to pick up steam.

Monday’s crop progress report puts corn at seven percent, soybeans at nine percent and sorghum at 11 percent harvested.

Winter wheat planting, at 72 percent, and wheat emergence, at 42 percent, are both ahead of average.
