Corn planting in Nebraska stood at 48 percent as of Sunday, slightly behind the five-year average of 55 percent. Ten percent of the crop had emerged.

Soybean planting was 13 percent complete, slightly behind the norm.

The condition rating of Nebraska’s winter wheat crop declined following the recent snow storm and freezing temperatures. The percentage of crop rated good to excellent fell from 50 percent last week to 36 percent this week.
