Mixed harvest pace in South Dakota

Soybean harvest is nearing the halfway point in South Dakota.

USDA says 58% of the soybeans are harvested and corn harvest is 26% complete, ahead of average.

In South Dakota, sorghum harvest is at 36% complete, near last year’s pace. Winter wheat is 82% planted with 44% of the crop emerged.

Sunflower harvest is behind the average pace at 3% complete.
