Minnesota cash rents down $10 dollars per acre

Rental rates for non-irrigated cropland in Minnesota have fallen $10 dollars per acre in the last year.

The USDA’s National Ag Statistics Service says rents average $170 dollars, with the highest rates in Dodge and McLeod Counties.

Pasture rented for cash averages $30 dollars per acre, an increase of two dollars from a year ago.

Lac Qui Parle County reported the highest pasture cash rent, followed by Rock and Swift.

Rents in neighboring Wisconsin averaged $131 dollars per acre for non-irrigated cropland, and $35 dollars for pasture.
