Harvest winding down in Arkansas

Cotton harvest has wrapped up, while peanut and soybean harvest is near completion.

In the second-to-last crop report from the USDA, peanut harvest is 97% complete and soybean harvest is 98% wrapped up.

Winter wheat is 93% planted and 75% emerged, with 73% rated good to excellent.

Livestock is rated 37% good to excellent and vegetables are 76% good to excellent. 

Topsoil moisture is 81% and subsoil moisture is 70% adequate to surplus.
