Grassley frustrated with delay of Trump’s biofuels plan

Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley is frustrated with the continued delays in announcing President Trump’s biofuels plan.

“Why are we talking about RINs caps? Why are we talking about rebates for RINs? The EPA ought to put this down on paper and get it out,” Grassley says. “Fifteen billion gallons is fifteen billion gallons. Let’s either do our job or get off the pot. We ought to have had this paper from the EPA yesterday.”

Media reports indicate Trump is considering more options on the biofuels package. He has reportedly asked National Economic Council chief Larry Kudlow to help find a solution.
