Grains Council, RFA disappointed in China claim
The U.S. Grains Council and the Renewable Fuels Association say they’re disappointed with China’s claim that U.S. dried distillers grain (DDG) subsidies are unfair and are injuring China’s DDG industry. Although they’re not surprised, the groups say U.S. DDGs have not caused any injury to China. In fact, the groups say DDGs protect Chinese feed producers against global commodity price swings. The groups say they’re cooperating with investigations and hope China will determine that market access for U.S. DDGs is in China’s interest.
