Gavilon buys DeBruce Grain

Omaha-based grain company Gavilon has purchased the grain handling facilities and other assets of DeBruce Grain, with DeBruce becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Gavilon.

The acquisition nearly doubles Gavilon’s grain storage capacity.  Gavilon currently has 89 facilities with more than 150 million bushels of storage capacity. DeBruce has elevators in ten states, including Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Indiana—and also in Mexico—with combined storage capacity of more than 140 million bushels.
