FFA prepares students for the future

The National FFA Organization prepares members for leadership and future careers.

Lexi Stein, with the New Ulm FFA Chapter in Minnesota, says she believes the organization sets members up for future success.

“I think it will take us all – every FFA member – far in life,” she says. “It helps me with my public speaking skills, and I think it will bring me far in the future.”

Illinois native Griffin Skees says she’s learned that FFA is more than an ag program. 

“It’s not all about ag, I would say it’s more about leadership and getting out of your comfort zone,” she says.

Elizabeth Ciancio of Wisconsin says she’s learned that there is a place for everyone.

“Anyone can get involved, there’s something for everyone,” she says.

Cassidy Mrakuzic is a member of the Black River FFA Chapter in Ohio.

“I’ve gained a lot of friends and leadership abilities and I’m better at talking in front of people,” she says.
