Farmers complete fieldwork in Ohio

Cool and wet conditions didn’t stop farmers from completing fieldwork in Ohio, according to the USDA.

Twenty-three percent of the winter wheat crop is jointing, ahead of the five-year average.

Oats are 34 percent planted and seven percent emerged.

Topsoil is 100 percent adequate to surplus and subsoil moisture is 99 percent adequate to surplus.
