Farmer says Classic 21 offered more educational sessions than ever before

Commodity Classic co-chair and Ohio farmer Anthony Bush says the digital format of this year’s event provided farmers with even more educational sessions than usual.

“People attend Commodity Classic for the educational sessions and of course the social aspect is important to everyone but this year by doing it the way we did, we were able to have over 50 education sessions scheduled which is more than double what we can normally do in an in-person event,” he says.

Farmers can go back and watch sessions now until April 30.

“Even being on the committee and co-chair I didn’t have time to watch all the educational sessions, but now I have time to go back and watch them a little bit at a time and that’s pretty exciting for us,” he says.

Bush says although the special edition of Commodity Classic went well, he is looking forward to the possibility of another in-person event next year.

“I can’t wait until the 2022 Classic in New Orleans,” he says. “I think it will be our biggest ever.”

The 2022 Commodity Classic is scheduled for March 10-12.
